Service Tech / Installer (m/f/d) for Gates and Barriers in Bonn

We’re looking for a Fitter/Service Technician (m/f/d) for doors, gates, and barriers in Bonn on behalf of our client. Our client is an established construction company looking for a dedicated technician to join their team in the Bonn area. The crew has a clear goal: great work, happy customers, and fair teamwork. Your Tasks:

• Setting up and starting up gates, barriers, and parking systems
• Carrying out repair and installation work
• Handling service calls for gate and barrier systems independently
• Solution-oriented troubleshooting on various drives and control systems
• Maintenance and testing of the systems you look after
• Handling paperwork (e.g., deficiency reports, test logs)
• Installing fire protection systems and hold-open devices
• Providing professional advice to customers on-site

Don't sweat it, you don't have to do everything at once. Our client usually splits the team into "Customer Service, Assembly/Repairs, and Maintenance." You’ll mostly work in one of these areas. Depending on the workload and what you’re into, things can be mixed up. It’s really important to our client to take your personal wishes and needs into account.

Your Profile:

• You’ve completed an apprenticeship in a trade or have plenty of hands-on experience
• You’ve got skills in electrical and metalwork
• Experience in gate technology assembly and service is a plus, but not a dealbreaker
• You enjoy dealing with customers
• You’re good at staying organized and working in a structured way
• Your strengths include teamwork, curiosity, being a quick learner, commitment, and reliability
• Driver’s license class B (BE would be perfect)
• You’re a reliable, responsible, and loyal colleague
• You’re comfortable working at heights
• You enjoy learning new things and growing your skills
