Your role in the company
In this position, you're responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems (BMA). You'll work independently on diverse projects and ensure our systems work reliably, from assembly and commissioning to long-term support.
Your tasks at a glance:
- Independent assembly, installation, programming, and commissioning of fire alarm systems (BMA)
- Expansion, modernization, and conversion of existing fire alarm systems
- Creating and maintaining all technical documents like wiring plans, fire department route maps, connection documents, and site records including documentation according to the QM system
- Carrying out measurement, testing, and acceptance tasks according to current standards (DIN VDE, DIN 14675, EN 54) and creating corresponding test reports
- Maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of existing systems including detailed documentation
- Analyzing and fixing technical errors on control panels, detectors, peripheral devices, and interfaces
- Communication and coordination with customers, clients, the fire department, experts, and suppliers
- Conducting customer briefings, training, and support on-site, by phone, or remotely
- Collecting customer info, e.g., regarding order expansions, modernization needs, or customer satisfaction, as well as working closely with the project manager on order processing
- Participating in on-call service
What makes you stand out:
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, information and communication technology, or similar fields, e.g., electronics technician for energy and building technology, electronics technician for devices and systems, information electronics technician, or IT specialist for system integration
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering, security technology, or building technology
- Practical experience in assembly, service, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm systems (BMA) - ideally for manufacturers like Esser, Notifier, Hekatron, and Bosch
- Solid knowledge of common fire alarm systems and BMA components
- Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines: DIN VDE, DIN 14675, EN 54, DIN 4102, MLAR
- Basic knowledge of business administration, IT, and computers
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- High reliability, commitment, and willingness to perform
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a clear focus on the customer
- Confident, reliable, and friendly demeanor
- Business-fluent German skills (C1)
- Driver's license (Class B)
