Purchaser (m/f/d) Tunneling - Salzburg, Munich

Tasks

• You'll help out with the buying process for all projects across Austria and make sure everyone sticks to the set processes and standards
• You'll manage the strategic and day-to-day buying of subcontractor work, supplies, and services
• You'll work closely with site managers, estimators, and project leads to create clear bases for decisions and ensure things get done reliably on the projects
• You'll keep developing buying strategies, framework agreements, and standards, using KPIs and reporting to keep things on track
• Active product group management (analyzing groups, setting strategies, closing framework deals) is also part of your job

What we're looking for

• A completed commercial or technical degree (like industrial clerk), business or construction specialist, or a degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, business admin, or something similar
• Several years of experience in purchasing, ideally in the construction industry
• Great negotiation skills, assertiveness, a business-minded approach, and a lot of initiative, plus an independent way of working, personal commitment, and team spirit
• Expertise in operational and strategic purchasing along with a good technical understanding and communication skills to build internal and external networks
• Very good German skills, both spoken and written
