What you will do with us

Details about the role and requirements

Here you design more than just construction projects – you create spaces, solutions, and real results; as a Project Manager at ALGECO

Want to take responsibility and steer projects to success?

If you don't just want to tag along on construction projects, but want to shape them from start to finish – then ALGECO is the right place for you. Because with us, you don't just coordinate processes. You bring planning, people, quality, and deadlines into harmony and make sure ideas turn into successful projects.

Your mission with us:

  • You steer and coordinate our projects holistically – from planning to successful handover to the customer
  • You're responsible for scheduling, budget control, tracking, and the financial management of the projects
  • You organize project kick-offs, coordinate internal and external interfaces, and take part in site meetings
  • Contract and change order management are part of your area of responsibility, as are project follow-ups and deriving "lessons learned"
  • You monitor execution on the construction site, ensure quality, deadlines, and costs, and actively adjust ongoing measures
  • You conduct negotiations with clients, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers in a professional and solution-oriented way
  • You assess planning and execution defects, coordinate measures to fix them, and ensure reliable implementation
  • You plan and monitor maintenance work independently and support compliance with all HSE guidelines in the project environment
  • Evaluating suppliers and subcontractors as well as working closely with central purchasing rounds off your tasks
  • Plus, you accompany inspections and handovers directly on-site and ensure a professional project closure

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a degree in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management – or you have comparable professional experience leading complex projects
  • Experience in project management and solid knowledge of VOB (German construction contract procedures) give you confidence in daily operations
  • You work in a structured, economical way and keep an overview even when handling several topics at once
  • Technical understanding, an affinity for numbers, and an entrepreneurial mindset set you apart
  • You're comfortable using MS Office and modern communication tools
  • You communicate clearly, reliably, and convincingly – with customers as well as internal and external project partners
  • You have very good German skills and good English skills (at least B2)
  • You're also ready to travel occasionally and be flexible within the project area

Why it's worth starting with us:

Work flexibly. Modern structures. 30 days of vacation, trust-based working hours, and mobile working by arrangement allow you a balanced work-life balance.

Secure employer. Long-term perspective. Permanent contract in an international company with a future.

Mobility that fits. Attractive company car package for professional and private use – with a focus on sustainable e-mobility including a wallbox subsidy.

A start with a tailwind. Individual onboarding plan, personal support from a mentor, and regular feedback talks ensure you find your way quickly.

Work healthily – even long-term. Ergonomic workstations, bike leasing, active breaks, and health offers support your well-being.

Your development? Firmly planned. ALGECO Academy, internal and external training, workshops, and diverse development opportunities are part of the deal.

Benefits that stay. Company pension scheme, capital-forming benefits, accident insurance from day 1, and supplementary health insurance with an annual dental budget.

Commitment that counts. One paid social day per year and an established idea management system with rewards for good suggestions.

Transparency that informs. Regular "Team Talks" keep you up to date on all important developments at ALGECO.
