Tasks at Geiger:

• Recording and processing error messages
• Maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on production equipment
• Carrying out electrical and locksmith work
• Creating programs (Simatic S7) for programmable logic controllers (PLC) and user interfaces (HMI)
• Creating technical documentation
• Monitoring and documenting all systems and components that require inspection

What we're looking for:

• Completed technical vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician for automation/industrial engineering, or similar
• Many years of professional experience
• High interest in working in the fields of mechanics, electronics, and IT
• Strong manual skills and technical understanding
• Good knowledge of PLC programming
• Team-oriented, friendly attitude
• Staying calm even in stressful times
• Independent, efficient, and careful way of working
• Knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness for further training and education
