What you will do with us
- Tasks
- In our team, you'll handle and oversee timber construction projects focusing on structural planning and develop structural proofs considering recognized technical standards, norms, and building laws.
- Additionally, you'll develop engineering solutions.
- Your tasks include optimizing the design in planning and execution and developing various solution proposals.
- With the team's involvement, you're responsible for developing country-specific regulatory requirements for the project and incorporating them into the planning.
- You're in charge of organizing and coordinating meetings with internal and external specialists, including taking minutes.
- As a timber construction engineer, you'll take responsibility for project-specific document management.
- What We Rely On
- Successfully completed studies in timber engineering, a completed apprenticeship as a carpenter, or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience as a timber construction engineer with solid knowledge of German building law.
- Excellent knowledge of fire protection in timber construction.
- Very good user knowledge of the MS Office suite; experience with CAD Cadwork 3D, Frilo Software, and Dlubal Software is a plus.
- Good communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and willingness to work outside traditional planning structures.
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership roles.
- Business management training is an advantage.
- Authorization to submit structural calculations (specify federal state).
