We’re looking for a Lead Estimator (m/f/d) on behalf of our client. To help restructure and lead their estimating department, we need a:

Lead Estimator (m/f/d)

What our client is planning:

The goal is to revamp estimating workflows and roll out new tools. By using BIM, databases, and AI support, our client wants to keep their pricing competitive and profitable. You’ll be analyzing and optimizing the entire process:

• Evaluating bid requests
• Cost estimation
• Creating final project budgets after the contract is won
• Analyzing data and feeding insights back into the database

YOUR TASKS

• Developing a concept for restructuring the estimating department
• Choosing the right software, including CAD, BIM components, databases, and modern estimating programs
• Setting up interfaces between all new software tools
• Tailoring programs for different tasks like structural work and turnkey construction
• Training the whole estimating team on the new systems

YOUR PROFILE

• A degree or several years of professional experience in the construction industry
• Deep knowledge of BIM; experience in construction estimating is a plus
• Pro with MS Office and CAD software
• Great organizational skills, a knack for negotiating, and the ability to hold your own
• A team player who is motivated, independent, and detail-oriented
