Project Engineer (m/f/d) - MEP Cost Estimation
What you will do with us
We’re looking for a MEP Estimating Project Engineer (m/f/d) for our client based in Frankfurt.
- Your Tasks
- You’ll take the lead on estimating MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services for turnkey building construction projects.
- You’ll be responsible for reviewing and evaluating tender documents.
- You’ll check planning documents for completeness, plausibility, and contract compliance.
- You’ll help create bills of quantities and tender documents for MEP trades.
- Part of your job involves coming up with alternative technical solutions/proposals.
- As a Project Engineer, you’ll support contract negotiations with both clients and subcontractors.
- What You Bring to the Table
- A degree in engineering or a master technician/technician certification in building services or electrical engineering.
- Solid knowledge of relevant DIN standards, VDE regulations, and German construction contract procedures (VOB).
- Several years of experience in estimating, tendering, or project management within MEP trades.
- Proficiency in MS Office and RIB iTWO Baseline.
- A quick learner who works independently and thinks analytically and process-wise.
- A structured, solution-oriented way of working.
- A strong team player mentality.
