Civil Engineering Estimator (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a Civil Engineering Estimator (m/f/d) for our client at their Munich or Nuremberg locations.

• What you’ll be doing
  • Handling the cost estimation for construction and subcontractor services on civil engineering projects.
  • Figuring out performance requirements in coordination with the work preparation team.
  • Spotting opportunities and risks alongside the rest of the project team.
  • Helping optimize designs and identifying alternative construction methods.
  • Taking charge of quantity take-offs and plausibility checks.
  • Putting together tender docs for subcontractors and suppliers and evaluating the incoming bids.
  • Supporting technical controlling with setting up and maintaining working budgets.
  • Collaborating with everyone in the technical back office.
  • Managing supplementary cost estimates, including all the paperwork and sending out quotes to our clients.
• What you bring to the table
  • A degree in civil engineering or something similar.
  • Ideally, a few years of experience in estimating or managing complex civil engineering projects.
  • Strong technical expertise specifically in civil engineering.
  • A proactive attitude and a drive to make projects successful.
  • A team player who can also work independently.
  • Tech-savvy with standard office software.
  • Experience with RIB iTWO (Arriba) estimation software.
