We’re looking for a Cost Estimator (m/f/d) for infrastructure projects in Schwabach on behalf of our client.

Our client is an established, medium-sized construction company based in Schwabach (Nuremberg metropolitan area). They are a powerhouse when it comes to major projects in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, specializing in civil engineering, road construction, structural engineering, and railway construction.

What you’ll be doing:

• Use your expertise to help select and acquire new projects in structural engineering (bridge building) or civil/road construction.
• Analyze and evaluate interesting tender documents for your specific field.
• Take the lead on creating cost estimates and detailed bid calculations.
• Work closely with the purchasing department and technical project management to request and evaluate subcontractor services.
• Coordinate closely with department heads and other project stakeholders regarding bids.

What you bring to the table:

• A degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or a similar qualification.
• Several years of experience as an Estimator, Site Manager, or Work Planner in structural engineering (bridges) or civil/road construction.
• Solid skills in estimation software (ideally RIB iTWO) and a pro at using MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of current pricing and performance standards, and ideally a good handle on the local subcontractor and supplier market.
• A real team-player mindset, an entrepreneurial way of thinking, and a reliable, independent work style.
