Your Role

As a Service Technician for Fire Alarm Systems, you’ll be the go-to person for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems. You’ll work independently, make sure everything runs smoothly, and take part in on-call shifts to handle emergencies.

Your Tasks at a Glance

• Installing, programming, and commissioning fire alarm systems (BMA).
• Optional work on burglar alarm systems (EMA) depending on your experience.
• Maintenance, repairs, and servicing of existing systems, including troubleshooting and full documentation.
• Creating and updating technical docs like wiring plans and site sketches.
• Running measurements and tests according to current regulations and standards.
• Chatting with customers and providing on-site or remote training.
• Gathering customer info and working closely with project management on billing.
• Taking part in the on-call rotation.

What You Bring to the Table

• A completed vocational degree in electrical engineering, IT, or a similar field (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Systems Electronics, or IT Specialist).
• Several years of experience with fire alarm systems (installation, service, commissioning, and maintenance).
• Knowledge of relevant standards: DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR.
• Experience with burglar alarms is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license (Class B).
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Great communication skills, a team player attitude, and a customer-first mindset.
• A professional and friendly vibe.
• Basic knowledge of business, IT, and software.
• Business-fluent German.
