Service Technician (m/f/d) for Fire Alarm and PA Systems

We’re looking for a Service Technician (m/f/d) for fire alarm and voice evacuation systems (BMA / SAA) on behalf of our client.

Your Role

As a Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to person for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm (BMA) and voice evacuation systems (SAA). You’ll work independently, make sure everything runs reliably, and take part in on-call shifts to handle emergencies.

Your tasks at a glance:

• Installing, programming, and commissioning BMA and SAA systems.
• Maintenance, repairs, and servicing of existing systems, including troubleshooting and documentation.
• Creating and updating technical docs (wiring plans, connection records, site sketches).
• Running tests and measurements according to the rules.
• Chatting with customers and providing training, either on-site or remotely.
• Gathering customer info and working closely with project leads on billing.
• Taking part in the on-call rotation.

What You Bring to the Table

• A completed vocational degree in electrical engineering, IT, or telecommunications (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Systems Electronics, or System Integration).
• Several years of experience with BMA and SAA systems (installation, service, and maintenance).
• Knowledge of the relevant standards: DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR.
• A valid driver’s license (Class B).
• An independent, organized, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Great communication skills, a team-player attitude, and a focus on the customer.
• A professional and friendly vibe.
• Basic knowledge of business, IT, and computers.
• Fluent German skills.
