Your Role in the Company

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems. You’ll work independently on a variety of projects, making sure everything runs reliably—from setup and commissioning to long-term support.

Your tasks at a glance:

  • Independent assembly, installation, programming, and commissioning of intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, video surveillance, voice alarms, and electro-acoustic systems.
  • Creating and maintaining all technical docs like wiring plans, connection records, and site sketches, including documentation according to quality management standards.
  • Handling measurement and testing tasks based on current standards (DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675) and writing up the reports.
  • Maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of existing systems, including detailed documentation.
  • Chatting and coordinating with customers, clients, and suppliers, as well as providing on-site, phone, or remote training and support.
  • Gathering customer feedback on things like order upgrades or satisfaction, and working closely with the Project Manager on billing.
  • Taking part in the on-call rotation.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • A completed vocational degree in electrical engineering, IT/telecommunications, or something similar (e.g., electronics technician for energy and building technology, systems electronics, or IT systems integration).
  • Several years of experience in electrical engineering, security tech, or IT systems.
  • Hands-on experience in assembly, service, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems.
  • Solid knowledge in at least one area: intruder alarms, fire alarms, video surveillance, access control, or voice/electro-acoustic systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards: DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR.
  • Basic knowledge of business, IT, and computer systems.
  • An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
  • High reliability, commitment, and a "get it done" attitude.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a focus on the customer.
  • A confident, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Fluent German (C1 level).
  • A Class B driver’s license.

  • Weekend work is rare to non-existent.
  • Multi-day assignments only happen if you explicitly agree to them.
  • Training and development opportunities for your professional and personal growth.
