YOUR Role

In this position, you’ll be the go-to person for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems. You’ll work independently on a variety of projects, making sure everything runs smoothly—from the initial setup and commissioning to long-term support.

YOUR Tasks at a Glance:

  • Independently handle the assembly, installation, programming, and commissioning of intrusion alarms, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, voice alarms, and electro-acoustic systems.
  • Create and maintain all technical docs like wiring plans, connection records, and site sketches, including documentation for the quality management system.
  • Run measurements and tests according to industry standards (DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675) and write up the reports.
  • Take care of maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting for existing systems, keeping detailed records.
  • Chat and coordinate with customers, clients, and suppliers. You’ll also handle on-site, phone, or remote training and support for customers.
  • Keep track of customer info (like extra orders or feedback) and work closely with the Project Manager on billing.
  • Take part in the on-call rotation.

What Makes YOU a Great Fit

  • A completed vocational degree in electrical engineering, IT/telecoms, or something similar (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Tech, Systems Electronics, or IT Systems Integration).
  • Several years of experience in electrical engineering, security tech, or IT systems.
  • Hands-on experience in assembly, service, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems.
  • Solid knowledge in at least one area: intrusion alarms, fire alarms, video surveillance, access control, or voice/PA systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards: DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR.
  • Basic knowledge of business basics, IT, and computers.
  • An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
  • High reliability, commitment, and a "get it done" attitude.
  • Strong communication skills, a team player mindset, and a focus on the customer.
  • A confident, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Business-level German (C1).
  • A valid Class B driver’s license.
