We’re looking for a Technical Estimator (m/f/d) for Security Systems on behalf of our client.

Your Role in the Company

In this role, you’ll be a key player in making sure projects are handled professionally and stay on budget. You’ll put together solid cost estimates, evaluate technical docs, and support the project management and sales teams with quotes and order processing. Your work is the foundation for efficient, compliant, and profitable security projects.

Your tasks at a glance:

  • Creating estimates and quotes for projects involving fire alarms, intruder alerts, access control, CCTV, and voice alarm/PA systems.
  • Analyzing service descriptions, technical drawings, and project documentation.
  • Calculating material, labor, and equipment costs, and evaluating subcontractor bids and supplier terms.
  • Optimizing cost structures and developing economical solutions.
  • Working closely with sales, project management, and the technical team to get accurate quotes out on time.
  • Maintaining and improving estimation databases, price lists, and templates.
  • Helping out with contract negotiations, reviews, and order processing.

What makes you a great fit:

  • A technical degree or vocational training (e.g., in construction, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar).
  • Experience in technical project estimation or quoting, ideally in the security tech sector.
  • Solid MS Office skills, ideally with experience in software like RIB iTWO, Excel, or SAP.
  • A mix of technical know-how and business sense.
  • A careful, structured, and analytical way of working.
  • A team player with strong communication skills and a confident manner.
  • Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented.
  • Business-fluent German (C1 level).
