Your Role in the Company
In this position, you'll play a central role in expanding our IT and communication technology business for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB). You'll competently advise our customers on modern business solutions—from IP phone systems to cloud and collaboration systems, to integrated communication concepts that seamlessly work with security and fire alarm technology.
You'll accompany the entire sales process, from the first contact through needs analysis with decision-makers to successful contract closure. With your technical understanding, confident demeanor, and enthusiasm for sales, you'll significantly contribute to acquiring new customers and strengthening existing business relationships in the long term. You'll work closely with our technical and project teams to develop and implement the optimal IT and communication infrastructure for each customer.
Your Tasks at a Glance
- Actively acquiring new customers in the commercial environment (SMB)
- Expert advice on IT and telecommunications solutions
- Developing communication concepts that integrate security and fire alarm technology
- Conducting precise needs analyses and creating tailored, customized offers
- Managing the entire sales process from inquiry to contract closure
- Implementing sales strategies and campaigns to increase sales and revenue
- Participating in sales activities, trade shows, and events to showcase our service portfolio
- Monitoring the market and competition to identify new potentials
- Close collaboration with technical and project teams to develop optimal customer solutions
- Maintaining the CRM system and creating reports, forecasts, and evaluations
What Sets You Apart
- Completed commercial training or comparable qualification, e.g., telecommunications salesperson, IT systems salesperson, or industrial salesperson
- Several years of experience in selling technical products, ideally in the IT or telecommunications field for businesses
- In-depth knowledge of current IT and telecommunications solutions, ideally experience with Mitel, Unify, Starface, or similar systems
- Technical understanding and interest in digital solutions and their integration into business processes
- Experience in the field of security and fire alarm technology is a plus ("icing on the cake")
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, closing strength, and enjoyment in customer consulting at the decision-maker level
- High customer orientation and ability to build long-term B2B customer relationships
- Initiative, organizational talent, and a structured, reliable working style
- Team spirit and motivation to actively achieve sales goals together
- Fluent German skills (C1)
- Willingness to travel within the sales region
