We’re looking for a Sales Manager (m/f/d) for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on behalf of our client.

A leading player in the construction industry, this company brings several specialized fields together under one roof. Your Role

In this position, you’ll play a key role in growing our ICT business for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). You’ll provide expert advice on modern business solutions—ranging from IP phone systems and cloud/collaboration tools to networked communication setups that work seamlessly with security and fire alarm tech.

You’ll manage the entire sales process, from the first hello and needs analysis with decision-makers to closing the deal. With your technical know-how, confident personality, and passion for sales, you’ll be a major driver in winning new clients and strengthening long-term relationships. You’ll also work closely with our tech and project teams to design the perfect ICT infrastructure for every customer.

Your tasks at a glance:

  • Actively hunting for new B2B customers (SMBs).
  • Providing expert advice on IT and telecom solutions.
  • Developing communication concepts that integrate security and fire alarm tech.
  • Running precise needs analyses and creating tailor-made quotes.
  • Managing the full sales cycle from inquiry to closing.
  • Rolling out sales strategies and campaigns to boost revenue.
  • Representing the company at sales events, trade fairs, and promos.
  • Keeping an eye on the market and competition to spot new opportunities.
  • Working closely with tech and project teams on customer solutions.
  • Keeping the CRM up to date and handling reports, forecasts, and evaluations.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • A completed commercial apprenticeship or similar qualification (e.g., in Telecoms, IT Systems, or Industrial Management).
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in the ICT or B2B telecom sector.
  • Solid knowledge of current IT and telecom solutions—experience with Mitel, Unify, Starface, or similar systems is a big plus.
  • A technical mindset and an interest in digital solutions and how they fit into business processes.
  • Experience with security and fire alarm tech is the "cherry on top."
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, a talent for closing deals, and a love for advising decision-makers.
  • A customer-first mindset and the ability to build long-term B2B relationships.
  • Proactive, organized, and reliable way of working.
  • A team player who’s motivated to hit sales targets together.
  • Business-fluent German (C1).
  • Willingness to travel within the sales region.
