Your Role

As a Security Tech Fitter, you’ll handle the professional electrical installation and prep work for fire and burglar alarm systems. You’ll set the technical foundation so that service techs can come in afterward to program and commission the systems. You’ll work from clear plans on construction sites, making sure all components are correctly mounted, connected, and ready to go.

Your tasks at a glance:

• Electrical installation of fire and burglar alarm systems.
• Wiring and connecting lines to detectors, modules, control panels, and distributors.
• Mechanical mounting of detectors, signalers, control units, panels, housings, and brackets.
• Prepping systems for commissioning (e.g., clean labeling, documentation, keeping control cabinets tidy).
• Carrying out basic functional and visual checks.
• Spotting and reporting any installation errors or deviations.
• Documenting your work and coordinating with project leads or service techs.
• Laying cables and lines according to plan (surface-mounted, flush-mounted, trays, or pipes).
• Sticking to all safety, quality, and installation guidelines on-site.

What makes you a great fit

• A completed technical or trade qualification, e.g., as a fitter, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, electrician, or similar.
• Experience assembling or installing mechanical or electrical components is a plus.
• Confident using tools and measuring equipment.
• Basic skills in reading technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Hands-on skills, technical savvy, and a careful way of working.
• A team player who is reliable with colleagues and bosses.
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel for regional installations.
• Fluent German skills (C1).
• A Class B driver’s license.
