We’re looking for a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Security Systems (Fire Alarms, Intrusion Alarms, Video, Access Control) on behalf of our client.

Your Role
In this position, you’ll be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems. You’ll work independently on a variety of projects, making sure everything runs reliably—from setup and commissioning to long-term support.
Your tasks at a glance:
- Independent assembly, installation, programming, and commissioning of intrusion alarm systems (EMA), fire alarm systems (BMA), access control (ZuKo), video surveillance, voice alarm systems (SAA), and electro-acoustic systems (ELA).
- Creating and maintaining technical docs like wiring plans, connection records, and site sketches, including documentation according to the quality management system.
- Carrying out measurements and testing according to standards (DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675) and writing up the reports.
- Maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of existing systems, including detailed documentation.
- Chatting and coordinating with customers, clients, and suppliers, as well as providing on-site, phone, or remote training and support.
- Gathering customer feedback (e.g., on extra orders or satisfaction) and working closely with the Project Manager on billing.
- Taking part in the on-call rotation.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- A completed vocational degree in electrical engineering, info/comm tech, or something similar (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Tech, Systems Electronics Technician, Information Electronics Technician, or IT Specialist for System Integration).
- Several years of experience in electrical engineering, security tech, or IT systems.
- Hands-on experience in the assembly, service, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems.
- Solid knowledge in at least one area: Intrusion alarms, fire alarms, video surveillance, access control, or voice alarm/PA systems.
- Familiarity with relevant standards: DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR.
- Basic knowledge of business, IT, and computer systems.
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
- High reliability, commitment, and a "get it done" attitude.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a focus on the customer.
- A confident, professional, and friendly manner.
- Business-fluent German (C1).
- A Class B driver’s license.
