Service Technician (m/f/d) for Voice Alarm Systems - 4-Day Week

We’re looking for a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Voice Alarm Systems (VAS) on behalf of our client – 4-day week included!

Your Role

As a Service Technician for Voice Alarm Systems (VAS), you’ll be the go-to person for installing, maintaining, and repairing these systems. You’ll work independently on projects, make sure everything runs smoothly, and help out with on-call shifts for quick on-site responses.

Your tasks at a glance:

• Independent assembly, programming, and commissioning of Voice Alarm Systems (VAS).
• Optional work on fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and electro-acoustic systems, depending on your experience.
• Maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of existing VAS systems, including full documentation.
• Creating and maintaining technical docs like wiring plans and site sketches.
• Running measurements and tests according to industry standards (DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675) and writing the reports.
• Chatting and coordinating with customers and suppliers, plus giving on-site or remote training.
• Gathering customer feedback and working closely with project management on billing.
• Taking part in the on-call rotation.

What You Bring to the Table

• A completed vocational degree in electrical engineering, IT, or telecommunications (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Systems Integration, etc.).
• Several years of experience in VAS assembly, service, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant standards: DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR.
• Experience with fire alarms, intruder alarms, or CCTV is a big plus.
• A valid driver’s license (Class B).
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Great communication skills, a team player attitude, and a customer-first mindset.
• A professional and friendly vibe.
• Basic knowledge of business, IT, and standard software.
• Fluent German (C1 level).
