Your Role in the Company
As a Service Technician for Voice Alarm Systems (SAA), you are responsible for the proper installation, maintenance, and servicing of SAA systems. You work independently on projects, ensure the reliable operation of our systems, and support on-call services with quick on-site responses.
Your tasks at a glance:
- Independent assembly, programming, and commissioning of voice alarm systems (SAA)
- Optional work on fire alarm systems (BMA), intrusion alarm systems (EMA), access control systems (ZuKo), video surveillance systems, and electroacoustic systems (ELA) depending on experience
- Maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of existing SAA systems, including complete documentation
- Creation and maintenance of all technical documents such as wiring diagrams, connection documents, and object sketches
- Performing measurement and testing tasks according to applicable standards (DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675) and creating corresponding protocols
- Communication and coordination with customers, clients, and suppliers, as well as conducting briefings and training on-site, by phone, or remotely
- Recording customer information, e.g., regarding order extensions, customer requests, or customer satisfaction, and close collaboration with project management for order billing
- Participation in on-call service
What Sets You Apart
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, information and communication technology, or comparable fields, e.g., electronics technician for energy and building technology, electronics technician for devices and systems, information electronics technician, or IT specialist for system integration
- Several years of experience in voice alarm systems (SAA), assembly, service, commissioning, and maintenance
- Knowledge of relevant standards: DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR
- Experience in fire alarm systems (BMA), intrusion alarm systems (EMA), access control systems (ZuKo), video surveillance systems, and electroacoustic systems (ELA) is desirable
- Class B driver's license
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and pronounced customer orientation
- Confident, reliable, and friendly demeanor
- Basic knowledge of business management, IT, and computing
- Fluent German skills (C1)
