Your Role in the Company

As an Assembly Technician (m/f/d) in security technology, you’ll be responsible for the professional electrical installation and preparation of fire and intrusion alarm systems. You’ll set the technical foundation so that service technicians can later program and commission the systems. You’ll work according to clear plans and specs on our client’s construction sites, ensuring all components are correctly mounted, connected, and ready to go.

Your tasks at a glance:

• Electrical assembly of fire and intrusion alarm systems
• Wiring and connecting lines to detectors, modules, control panels, and distributors
• Mechanical mounting of detectors, signalers, control units, panels, housings, and brackets
• Preparing systems for later commissioning (e.g., clean labeling, documentation, keeping control cabinets tidy)
• Carrying out simple functional and visual checks according to specs
• Identifying and reporting assembly deviations or installation errors
• Documenting completed work and coordinating with project leads or service technicians
• Laying cables and lines according to plans (surface-mounted, flush-mounted, trays, pipes)
• Following all safety, quality, and assembly guidelines on-site

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Completed technical or vocational training, e.g., as an assembly tech, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, electrician, or similar qualification
• Experience in assembling mechanical or electrical components is a plus
• Confident using tools and measuring equipment
• Basic skills in reading technical drawings and circuit diagrams
• Manual dexterity, technical understanding, and a diligent way of working
• A team player who is reliable with colleagues and supervisors
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style
• Willingness to travel for regional assignments
• Business-fluent German (C1)
• Class B driver’s license
