In the capital, you'll work at SSP - Schwachstrom-Partner in a centrally located site with excellent transport connections. Our Berlin team combines technical know-how with a start-up mentality, creating a work environment where team spirit and innovation are key.

Your Role in the Company

In this position, you'll ensure that modern electrical and network systems are reliably installed and ready to go. You'll handle the professional setup and installation of our security systems (fire alarms, intrusion alarms, voice alarms, public address, video surveillance) and prepare the systems for smooth operation by our service technicians. With your expertise, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring projects are implemented in a structured manner and the quality of our solutions is always guaranteed.

Your tasks at a glance:

  • Independent installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems as well as modern data and communication networks
  • Setup, testing, and documentation of network structures (LAN, WLAN, IP-based systems)
  • Conducting measurements, error analysis, and troubleshooting during the setup phase
  • Assisting in the planning, technical development, and documentation of projects
  • Close collaboration with project management, IT, and external service providers
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, safety, and quality requirements
  • Preparing systems for operation by our service technicians

What Sets You Apart

  • Completed training as an electrician, information electronics technician, or similar qualification
  • Further training as a certified technician in electrical engineering or network technology
  • Good knowledge of network technology, e.g., LAN/WLAN, IP, switches, routers
  • Experience in electrical installation and the use of measurement and testing technology
  • Knowledge of relevant standards like VDE or DIN
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style
  • Service orientation, strong communication skills, and teamwork ability
  • Fluent German skills (C1)
  • Class B driver's license
