We’re looking for a Service Technician (m/f/d) for Security Technology on behalf of our client.

Your Role in the Company
In this position, you’ll be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems. You’ll work independently on various projects and ensure systems run reliably—from setup and commissioning to long-term support.
Your tasks at a glance:
- Independent assembly, installation, programming, and commissioning of intrusion alarms, fire alarms, access control systems, video surveillance, voice alarms, and electro-acoustic systems.
- Creating and maintaining all technical docs like wiring plans, connection records, and site sketches, including documentation according to QM standards.
- Carrying out measurements and testing according to current standards (DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675) and writing up the reports.
- Maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of existing systems, including detailed documentation.
- Communicating and coordinating with customers, clients, and suppliers, as well as providing on-site, phone, or remote training and support.
- Gathering customer info (e.g., regarding order expansions or satisfaction) and working closely with the project manager on billing.
- Participating in the on-call rotation.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, info/telecom tech, or similar—e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Systems Electronics Technician, Information Electronics Technician, or IT Specialist for System Integration.
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering, security tech, or IT systems.
- Hands-on experience in assembly, service, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems.
- Solid knowledge in at least one area: intrusion alarms, fire alarms, video surveillance, access control, or voice alarm/electro-acoustic systems.
- Knowledge of relevant standards: DIN VDE, EN 54, DIN 14675, DIN 4102, MLAR.
- Basic knowledge of business admin, IT, and computer systems.
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
- High reliability, commitment, and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a clear focus on the customer.
- A confident, reliable, and friendly demeanor.
- Business-fluent German (C1).
- Class B driver’s license.
