Your role in the company
In this position, you represent our client's solutions in the field of electronic security technology in direct customer contact on-site as well as remotely and are the competent contact person for new and existing customers. You move actively in the market, identify customer needs, and develop suitable concepts together with the client's technical departments. You accompany projects from the first conversation through technical and commercial preparation to a successful conclusion. A special focus of your work is on fire alarm technology (BMA), which is the central and most important pillar of the client's sales. In addition, you actively drive the expansion of video technology as a growing business area.
Your tasks at a glance:
- Actively winning new customers and sustainably expanding existing business relationships
- Analyzing individual customer requirements and developing suitable technical solution concepts
- Convincing presentation of the client's systems and services at the decision-maker and user level
- Close cooperation with technology, calculation, and project management to work out tailor-made offers
- Accompanying offer and project processes until the successful contract conclusion
- Focused support and development of projects in the field of fire alarm technology (BMA)
- Active contribution to the expansion of video technology as a strategic growth area
- Monitoring market and technology trends and bringing in your own ideas for the further development of the client's sales
What makes you stand out:
- Completed technical or commercial training with further training as a technician, master craftsman, or a degree – ideally in the field of electrical engineering, communication technology, or security technology
- Several years of professional experience in technical sales, especially in the field of fire alarm technology (BMA)
- Interest and motivation to help build and develop the video technology area
- Knowledge in other areas of security technology (EMA, access, SAA, ELA) is a plus
- Experience in technical sales, especially in solution and project business
- Strong technical understanding combined with business thinking
- Communication and negotiation skills on equal footing with customers, partner companies, and technical departments
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working as well as high initiative
- Strong customer orientation and the ability to present complex technical content clearly
- Business fluent German skills (C1)
