What you will do with us
We’re looking for a Senior Fitter / Power Solutions Fitter on behalf of our client.
You’ll be responsible for organizing site operations and handling assembly and installation work, mostly for regional projects. Working closely with project management, you’ll represent our client’s interests on-site and serve as the main point of contact for the customer and other project partners.
Following safety guidelines, you’ll brief employees and subcontractors on workplace safety. You’ll keep the site diary, track personnel, organize workflows based on schedules, and assign tasks to the team. You’ll also keep an eye on quality, progress, and safety. Your role includes documenting extra work, checking timesheets and performance records, and tracking the status of the build. You’ll manage the local material warehouse and handle deliveries. Plus, you’ll give regular status updates to the project manager.
Your tasks:
- Supervising assembly/installation and organizing site operations (including subcontractors)
- Conducting safety briefings
- Managing materials for the site
- Maintenance and service work
- Connection work in energy technology
- Installing low-voltage main distribution boards
- Nice to have: Commissioning and setting up switches and universal measuring devices
Your profile:
- From beginners to pros, full-time
- Training as an electronics technician (any field) or electrical installer—a Master or Technician certificate is a plus but not required
- Solid professional experience and familiarity with how assembly sites work
- Ability to judge quality and correct execution, with knowledge of key electrical regulations and standards
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Confident in organizing and supervising installation work on larger projects with support from a project manager
- Professional demeanor when representing our client as site management
What’s in it for you:
- Work on high-profile projects with diverse applications in electrical engineering for plants and buildings
- State-of-the-art workplaces and equipment
- Regular training and further education
- A chance to climb the career ladder in a company with flat hierarchies
- For experienced fitters looking to start out in leadership, our client offers a path into management.
