Location: Kraftisried Start date: Immediately Entry level: Specialist Working hours: Full-time Unit: Environmental Remediation Tasks at Geiger: * Main workplace in Kraftisried, occasional work at other landfills in the region * Operating crawler excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, rollers, and dumpers – some with GPS control Opportunity to develop into a foreman (m/f/d) through: * Support in organizing and coordinating workflows with an eye on future leadership tasks * Participation in targeted training and qualification measures – we cover the costs * Hands-on support from experienced colleagues who will guide you on your way * Future perspective: Independent leadership of a construction site team and taking over foreman duties after successful qualification What we're looking for: * Ideally a completed apprenticeship as a construction equipment operator (m/f/d) and relevant, multi-year professional experience in civil engineering, landfill construction, or landscaping/golf course construction * Experience in operating machines like wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and rollers for installing mineral waste * Knowledge in handling asbestos and willingness to take an asbestos specialist course * Motivation for personal development and taking on leadership responsibility * Team spirit, organizational talent, and a sense of responsibility * Willingness to work at changing locations in the Allgäu region Good reasons for Geiger: Our employees are close to our hearts - at the workplace, but also in their free and family time.
