How you can impress our client: Our client is looking for someone with a university degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor/Master).

They’d love for you to bring at least 10 years of professional experience to the table.

Relevant experience in managing external planners and firms, especially within complex large-scale projects, is a big plus.

You have experience with tendering and awarding planning and construction services, along with the associated anti-claim management.

You’re familiar with using IT-based project planning and tendering tools.

You have very good knowledge of building planning and building regulations law.

You have very good knowledge of procurement law (VOB, SektVO, GWB, etc.).

You have experience in construction and project management.

You have experience in several technical and structural trades.

You have experience in risk and change management.

You have experience in personnel planning, leadership, and employee motivation.

You’ll be in charge of developing and setting binding requirements for the work performed by planners, specialist planners, and contractors.

You’ll lead and supervise property and specialist planners during the planning and construction phases (HOAI phases 1-8).

You’ll manage and oversee external experts during the permitting process.

You’ll take care of tendering services (creating service descriptions or checking those of third parties) and the technical auditing of invoices.

You’ll lead negotiations with project-related or public-law implications and handle joint contract negotiations with the procurement office.

You’ll monitor project implementation regarding content, quality standards, costs, and deadlines.

You’ll handle the acceptance of third-party services and the handover to the client.

Your job also includes creating and delivering cross-project reporting or presentations and helping drive cross-project decisions.

You’ll also be responsible for technical coordination with the client's planning departments, third-party users, and authorities.
