Civil Engineer (m/f/d) as Structural Designer for Industrial and Warehouse Floors

Responsibilities

• Concept and Preliminary Design: You'll develop structural concepts for industrial and warehouse floors and check out different versions for cost-effectiveness and technical feasibility.
• Structural Calculations: You'll create verifiable structural calculations along with the matching layout and joint plans.
• Project Responsibility: You'll oversee the structural implementation of your solutions and coordinate with external engineering firms.
• Innovation and Development: You'll help develop new, optimized construction methods for industrial and warehouse floors and bring in your own ideas.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: You'll work closely with colleagues from integrated planning, geotechnics, warehouse and conveyor technology, and our branch offices.

Profile

• Professional Qualification: A degree in civil engineering focusing on structural engineering, concrete construction, or something similar.
• Experience and/or Willingness to Grow: Whether you're an experienced pro, a fresh grad, or a motivated career changer – we'll give you a structured start in the specialized world of industrial floors.
• Structural Planning Knowledge: Ideally, you have experience creating structural calculations in concrete construction and warehouse floors. Knowing your way around non-linear calculation methods is a plus.
• Analytical and Creative Mindset: You enjoy developing technical solutions and look at tasks holistically and across different fields.
• Communication and Team Skills: You like working in a team, communicate confidently with internal and external project partners, and act as a competent point of contact.
