Civil Engineer/Specialist Planner (m/f/d) 13th month salary + up to €80k

We’re looking for a Civil Engineer/Specialist Planner (m/f/d) on behalf of our client.

In industrial construction, concrete floor slabs do a lot of heavy lifting: they act as roadways, storage areas, and foundation components. Over a building's lifespan, the industrial floor is the part that takes the most beating—making it a huge factor in how well a facility works and how long it lasts.

Our client is a leader in the construction industry. Their Civil and Environmental Engineering department (specifically the Industrial Flooring division) ensures buildings stay stable and functional for the long haul. By working closely with other teams like geotechnics and special foundation engineering, they create smart, all-in-one solutions.

Your Tasks

• Your Mission: You’ll support sales managers across Germany, advising customers on everything related to industrial flooring.
• Common Goal: You’ll check if project requirements are technically and financially doable, then come up with the perfect design concept for the floor slab.
• Keeping an Eye on the Big Picture: You’ll spot project potential early on, handle preliminary designs, estimate materials, and play an active role in calculations and bidding. Quality advice is your top priority.
• Living Interdisciplinary Work: You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues from different planning departments and regional branches—teamwork is a big deal here!

Your Profile

• Experience and Passion for Industrial Floors: You have a degree in Civil Engineering (or something similar) and a solid understanding of how industrial floors are built and used. Most importantly, you enjoy putting that knowledge to work.
• Customer-First Mindset: You already have some experience in consulting or sales and love building and maintaining professional networks.
• Creative and Collaborative: You enjoy working across different fields—like foundation engineering or logistics technology—and thinking outside the box comes naturally to you.
• Great Communicator: You’re a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to give expert advice.
• Ideally, you have experience in dimensioning industrial floors and know your way around the relevant regulations.
• You speak and write German fluently and have a professional way of expressing yourself.
