Civil Engineer (m/f/d) as Specialist Planner – up to €80k per year

We’re looking for a Civil Engineer (m/f/d) to join our client’s team as a Specialist Planner, with a salary of up to €80k a year.

In industrial construction, concrete floor slabs do a lot of heavy lifting—literally. They act as roadways, storage areas, and foundation components all at once. Over a building's lifetime, the industrial floor is the part that takes the most beating, making it a huge factor in how well a facility functions and lasts.

Our client is a leader in the construction industry. Their Civil and Environmental Engineering department (specifically the Industrial Flooring division) is all about ensuring long-term stability and performance. By working closely with other teams like geotechnics and special foundations, they create smart, integrated solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Your Mission: You’ll support sales managers across Germany, acting as the go-to expert for all things industrial flooring.
• The Goal: You’ll check out project requirements for technical and financial feasibility to come up with the perfect design concept for floor slabs.
• Keeping an Eye on the Big Picture: You’ll spot project potential early on, handle preliminary designs, estimate materials, and help out with calculations and bidding. Basically, you’re the guardian of high-quality consulting.
• Teamwork is Key: You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues from different planning departments and regional branches—teamwork is a big deal here!

What you bring to the table

• Experience & Passion: You have a degree in Civil Engineering (or something similar) and a solid understanding of how industrial floors are built and used. Most importantly, you actually enjoy putting that knowledge to work.
• Customer Focus: You’ve got some experience in consulting or sales and genuinely enjoy building and maintaining professional networks.
• Creative & Collaborative: You like working across different fields—like foundation engineering or logistics tech—and you’re always looking at the bigger picture.
• Great Communicator: You’re a team player who knows how to talk to people and provide expert advice confidently.
• Bonus Points: Ideally, you have experience designing industrial floors and know your way around the relevant industry regulations.
• Language Skills: You speak and write German fluently and have a professional way of expressing yourself.
