Timber Construction Engineer (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a Timber Construction Engineer (m/f/d) on behalf of our client.

• Your Tasks
  • You’ll be part of our team handling timber construction projects, focusing on structural design and providing structural calculations that follow all the standard technical rules, norms, and building laws.
  • You’ll also be coming up with engineering solutions.
  • Your job includes optimizing designs during the planning and execution phases and brainstorming different ways to solve problems.
  • Working with the team, you’ll be responsible for figuring out the specific local building regulations for each project and making sure they’re integrated into the plans.
  • You’ll organize and coordinate meetings with internal and external specialists and keep the minutes.
  • As a Timber Construction Engineer, you’ll also take charge of project-specific document filing.
• What You Bring to the Table
  • A degree in Timber Engineering, a completed apprenticeship as a carpenter, or something equivalent.
  • Professional experience as a timber construction engineer with a solid grasp of German building laws.
  • Great knowledge of fire protection in timber construction.
  • You’re a pro with MS Office; experience with CAD Cadwork 3D, Frilo, or Dlubal software is a big plus.
  • Good communication skills, a business-oriented mindset, and a willingness to work outside traditional planning structures.
  • Leadership experience or the drive to take on a leadership role.
  • Further training in business administration is a plus.
