Civil Engineer (m/f/d) as Specialist Planner – up to €80k a year

We’re looking for a Civil Engineer (m/f/d) to join our client’s team as a Specialist Planner, with a salary of up to €80k per year.

In industrial construction, concrete floor slabs do a lot of heavy lifting: they act as roadways, storage areas, and foundation components. Over a building's lifetime, the industrial floor is the part that takes the most beating—making it a huge factor in how well an industrial facility functions and lasts.

Our client’s Civil and Environmental Engineering team (specifically the Industrial Flooring department) is all about ensuring long-term stability and performance. By working closely with other departments like geotechnics and special foundation engineering, they create smart, integrated solutions.

Your Tasks

• Your Mission: You’ll support Sales Managers across Germany, advising customers on everything related to industrial flooring.
• Common Goal: You’ll check and evaluate technical and economic requirements to come up with the perfect design concept for floor slabs.
• Keep an Eye on the Big Picture: You’ll spot project potential early on, handle preliminary structural designs, estimate quantities, and play an active role in calculations and bidding. You’ll also make sure the internal consulting quality stays top-notch.
• Live Interdisciplinary Collaboration: You’ll coordinate closely with colleagues from different planning departments and branches—teamwork is a big deal here!

Your Profile

• Experience and Passion for Industrial Floors: You have a degree in Civil Engineering (or something similar) and a solid understanding of how industrial floors are built and used. Most importantly, you enjoy putting that knowledge to work.
• Customer-First Mindset: You already have some experience in consulting or sales and love building and maintaining professional networks.
• Creative and Collaborative: You enjoy working across different fields (like foundation engineering or logistics technology) and naturally think outside the box.
• Great Communicator: You’re a team player with strong communication skills and a professional consulting style.
• Ideally, you have experience in dimensioning industrial floors and know your way around the relevant regulations.
• Language Skills: You have very good written and spoken German and a professional way of expressing yourself.
