Estimator for Civil Engineering and Road Construction (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a Civil Engineering & Road Construction Estimator (m/f/d) on behalf of our client.

What we’re looking for

• A degree in Civil Engineering (University/Technical College) or a similar qualification
• Several years of relevant experience in site management, estimating, or a similar role
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with billing and estimating software (ideally RIB iTWO)
• An independent, proactive work style and great teamwork skills
• An entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to hold your own

Your role with us

• Preparing bid estimates for road construction and civil engineering projects
• Calculating costs for construction services through your own math and price inquiries
• Bringing in internal and external specialists for specific parts of the estimate
• Taking responsibility for monitoring estimates and bid preparation
• Consolidating individual trade estimates into a total project calculation
• Creating order calculations and identifying potential savings for the operations team
• Supporting the group leader in preparing working budgets
• Keeping the group or division manager in the loop regarding all key technical and personnel tasks or issues
