Purchaser (m/f/d) Construction Logistics, Berlin

Tasks

• You'll handle purchasing for subcontractors and suppliers in construction logistics on your own and get involved during the bidding and execution phases of projects.
• You'll take care of and grow relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• You'll keep an eye on ways to optimize things and cut costs.
• Following the processes and standards set by the central procurement department is part of your job.
• Active category management (analyzing categories, setting strategies, and closing framework agreements) is also on your plate.

What we're looking for

• Completed commercial training (industry, construction business, etc.) or a technical background
• Work experience in purchasing within the construction or facility management industry (at least 3 years)
• Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a lot of initiative, plus an independent way of working, personal commitment, and team spirit
• Expertise in operational and strategic purchasing, along with good technical understanding and communication skills to build internal and external networks
• Very good German skills, both spoken and written
