Your tasks at Geiger
- Assigning staff and equipment in coordination with landfill management
- Scheduling/dispatching materials
- Measuring and recording quantities (take-off)
- Monitoring work progress while keeping the costing basis in mind
- Leading the site team
- Recording, checking, and submitting employees’ working hours
- Instructing, supervising, and coordinating subcontractors
- As a stand-in: operating the weighbridge and processing/documenting the data
What we’re looking forward to
- Completed technical training or many years of experience in civil engineering, landfill construction, or landscaping/garden/golf course construction
- Leadership and site experience you’ve already proven in a previous role
- Experience operating machines such as wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and rollers for installing mineral waste
- Knowledge of handling asbestos and willingness to take an asbestos specialist course
- Independent, structured way of working
- Willingness to work at changing locations in the Allgäu region
