Your tasks at Geiger: Mainly based in Kraftisried, with occasional shifts at other landfills in the region.
- Scheduling staff and equipment in coordination with landfill management
- Managing material logistics
- Measuring and recording site quantities
- Monitoring progress based on budget and project estimates
- Leading the site team
- Recording, checking, and submitting staff working hours
- Instructing, supervising, and coordinating subcontractors
- Standing in to operate the weighbridge and handle data processing/documentation
What we’re looking for:
- A completed technical apprenticeship or several years of experience in civil engineering, landfill construction, or landscaping/golf course construction
- Leadership and site experience you’ve already proven in a previous role
- Experience operating machinery like wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, or rollers for installing mineral waste
- Knowledge of handling asbestos and a willingness to take a specialist asbestos course
- An independent and organized way of working
- Willingness to work at different sites across the Allgäu region
