Tasks at Geiger:
- Operating and monitoring the asphalt mixing plant according to production specs
- Controlling and checking the mixing processes via control software
- Making sure quality standards and safety rules are followed
- Documenting production processes and material consumption
- Fixing malfunctions on your own to keep the plant running
- Maintenance, care, and repair work on the mixing plants
- Coordinating material pre-planning, delivery, and storage
What we're looking for:
- Completed technical training, e.g., as a process mechanic (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), mechatronics technician (m/f/d), or something similar
- Manual skills and a technical understanding of production plants
- Experience operating production plants, ideally in the asphalt or building materials sector, is a plus
- Team spirit and the ability to work independently
- Basic MS Office skills and ideally experience with process control systems
- Friendly and confident manner when dealing with our customers
