Tasks at Geiger
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team in the area of financial statements / accounting
- Independent and self-reliant preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements according to HGB for various legal forms domestically, as well as the transition of foreign companies
- Coordination of intercompany relationships within the corporate group
- Ensuring compliance with legal and internal accounting guidelines
- Responsibility for group-wide reporting to various stakeholders
- Contact person for auditors, specialist departments, and subsidiaries
- Further development and optimization of consolidation processes and systems
- Independent management of internal and group-wide projects
What we're excited about
- Completed training as a tax clerk (m/f/d), tax specialist (m/f/d), certified accountant (m/f/d), or a business degree with a focus on taxes and accounting or similar
- Several years of professional experience in accounting (annual financial statements and consolidation (HGB))
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Structured, independent, and conscientious work style
- Good knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of Datev and IDL-Konsis would be an advantage
- Structured, solution-oriented, and responsible work style
