Tasks at Geiger
- Support in the introduction and continuous optimization of the procurement system
- Independent system administration and configuration of the procurement system (e.g., processes, approval chains, user roles, adjustment of system parameters, and configuration of new features)
- Collaboration with IT for ERP integration and third-party systems
- Creating guides and documentation for system processes
- Responsible for system tests, troubleshooting, updates, and rollouts
- Monitoring of interfaces and workflows
- Contact person for department key users on support issues, conducting user training, and creating training materials
- Ensuring acceptance and use of the system in the company through empathetic communication
- Creation of dashboards, evaluations, and KPIs
What we're excited about
- Completed studies in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in administering common procurement systems like Coupa, Ivalua, Newtron
- Good knowledge of procure-to-pay processes
- Experience in requirements management and process analysis for optimizing procurement processes
- Outstanding empathetic and communicative skills
- Analytical thinking as well as proactive, solution-oriented, and structured working style
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, ideally also English skills
