Assistant Manager (m/f/d) Cable Car Zugspitze & Glacier Railway

We're looking for a Deputy Operations Manager (m/f/d) for the Zugspitze Cable Car and Glacier Railway in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Your tasks:

• Operating and monitoring our cable car systems (Zugspitze Cable Car and Glacier Railway) in Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Grainau
• Ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations
• Performing inspections, maintenance, and repair work
• Analyzing and fixing technical issues
• Supporting the operations management with organizational and operational tasks
• Representing the operations management in their absence
• Complying with and implementing legal regulations and internal safety standards
• Assisting with official inspections and technical reviews
• Taking care of our guests (visitor management)
• Training and educating staff in passenger assistance and machine operation (m/f/d)

If you have

• a completed technical (mechanical/electrical) education (e.g., cable car technician, mechatronics technician, locksmith, industrial mechanic, electrician, etc.)
