Your tasks at Geiger
- Overall responsibility for demanding timber construction projects in commercial, institutional, engineering, and residential sectors – from work preparation to final acceptance
- Independent management of projects regarding deadlines, costs, and quality across all project phases
- Central contact person for clients, architects, specialist planners, and authorities
- Close cooperation with our internal planning department in coordinating execution and assembly planning
- Leadership and deployment control of the site foreman / lead hand on the construction site
- Awarding subcontractor services and purchasing materials in close coordination with the purchasing department
- Change order management, invoice verification, and project-related reporting
What we're looking for
- Completed technical training or a degree in timber construction, carpentry, civil engineering, or a similar field
- Several years of experience in project management for timber construction projects, ideally in institutional or commercial construction
- Basic knowledge of Cadwork is a plus, but not a requirement
- Structured, independent way of working and a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with all project stakeholders
