Your tasks at Geiger:
- Technical advice for our customers, builders, and engineering firms regarding innovative and sustainable products for a circular economy
- Convincing potential builders and tendering bodies to use alternative products and, if needed, creating sample tender texts
- Setting up the framework to get new products market-ready (approvals, product certifications, and other necessary steps)
- Acting as the link between R&D, sales, operations, and the building materials testing center when launching new products and improving the current portfolio
- Supporting our customers and builders in implementing sustainable construction methods with innovative products
What we're looking for:
- A degree in civil engineering, geosciences, or similar fields
- Many years of experience in recycling and mineral building materials
- Deep technical understanding of mineral building materials, how they're made, and how they're used
- Industry knowledge of the South German building materials and recycling sector
- Knowledge of relevant standards, laws, and regulations in structural and civil engineering and how to apply them
- Knowledge of VOB / VOL
- Strong personal presence and professional appearance
- Class B driver's license
