Your tasks at Geiger:

• Strategic estimation support for product development: Ongoing consulting during the development process of a modular wood-hybrid construction system – focusing on manufacturing costs, design, function, and life cycle
• Analysis and implementation of cost optimizations: Using methods like Design-to-Cost and technical standardization to identify and realize savings and optimization potential in the building system
• Responsibility for project estimation in the serial construction system: Creating calculations for specific implementation projects of the system in close coordination with sales
• Interface coordination between planning, product development, purchasing, and sales

What we're looking for:

• Degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering (construction), architecture, or a similar technical background with relevant extra qualifications
• Several years of professional experience in estimation and/or cost engineering, ideally in serial or industrial housing construction
• Solid knowledge of estimation methods, especially Design-to-Cost, MEP and structural costs, as well as life cycle costs
• Confident use of common estimation and planning tools (e.g., iTWO, Excel, BIM software, AVA systems)
• Strong analytical thinking with high cost and quality awareness
• Great communication skills at interdisciplinary interfaces (planning, product development, sales)
• Team player with initiative and a solution-oriented mindset
• Interest in sustainable and resource-saving construction
