Tasks at Geiger

• Calculative-strategic support of product development: Ongoing consultation in the development process of a modular wood-hybrid construction system – focusing on production costs, design, function, and lifecycle
• Analysis and implementation of cost optimizations: Using methods like design-to-cost and construction standardization to identify and realize savings and optimization potentials in the construction system
• Responsibility for project calculation in the serial construction system: Creating calculations for specific implementation projects of the system in close coordination with sales
• Interface coordination between planning, product development, purchasing, and sales

What we look forward to

• Completed studies in civil engineering, industrial engineering in construction, architecture, or a comparable technical education with relevant additional qualifications
• Several years of professional experience in calculation and/or cost engineering, ideally in serial or industrial housing construction
• In-depth knowledge in the application of calculation methods, especially design-to-cost, TGA and shell construction costs, as well as lifecycle costs
• Proficient use of common calculation and planning tools (e.g., iTWO, Excel, BIM software, AVA systems)
• Strong analytical thinking with a high cost and quality awareness
• Strong communication skills at interdisciplinary interfaces (planning, product development, sales)
• Team player with initiative and solution orientation
• Interest in sustainable and resource-efficient construction
