Tasks at Geiger:

• Independently handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting
• Process invoices while considering VAT in the construction industry (Reverse-Charge §13b)
• Manage open items lists and take over dunning processes
• Reconcile accounts and ensure proper bookkeeping
• Preparatory work for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Collaborate with tax consultants (m/f/d)
• Project and cost center accounting with a construction-specific focus
• Manage and record guarantees, securities, and warranty retentions in the books
• Work with digital workflows and document management systems

What we're looking for:

• Successfully completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a similar commercial qualification
• Further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a similar degree is a plus
• Relevant professional experience in financial accounting and ideally some initial experience in the construction sector
• Confident using ERP systems, e.g., Nevaris
• Digital way of working and an understanding of networked systems
• Very good German skills, both written and spoken
• High level of responsibility
• Structured, independent, and team-oriented way of working
