Your tasks at Geiger:

• Independently handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting
• Processing invoices while considering VAT in the construction industry (Reverse-Charge §13b)
• Managing open items lists and taking over the dunning process
• Reconciling accounts and ensuring proper bookkeeping
• Preparatory work for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Collaborating with tax consultants (m/f/d)
• Project and cost center accounting with a construction-specific focus
• Managing and accounting for guarantees, securities, and warranty retentions
• Working with digital workflows and document management systems

What we're looking for:

• Successfully completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or a similar commercial qualification
• Further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a similar degree is a plus
• Relevant professional experience in financial accounting and ideally some initial experience in the construction sector
• Confident handling of ERP systems, e.g., Nevaris
• Digital way of working and understanding of networked systems
• Very good German skills, both written and spoken
• High level of responsibility
• Structured, independent, and team-oriented way of working
