Your tasks at Geiger:

  • Managing the farm and organizing daily routines in agriculture and forestry
  • Taking charge of animal welfare, including feeding, health management, and breeding plans
  • Sustainable land management considering ecological and agro-economic factors
  • Landscape conservation activities
  • Supporting sustainable forest management measures
  • Coordinating staff
  • Further developing agricultural business branches
  • Documentation and compliance with legal requirements, especially regarding animal welfare and the environment
  • Communicating with authorities, partners, and customers

What we’re looking for:

  • Completed training in agriculture, Master Craftsman / Technician, or something similar
  • Several years of hands-on experience in cattle farming, ideally with suckler cows
  • Solid knowledge of animal husbandry, sustainable farming, and organic land management
  • Technical understanding of modern farm machinery
  • Ideally living near Oberegg (Markt Rettenbach)
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, a knack for organizing, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Tech-savvy with digital farming tools
