Your tasks at Geiger
- Managing the farm and organizing daily routines in agriculture and forestry
- Taking responsibility for animal welfare, including feeding, health management, and breeding planning
- Sustainable land management considering ecological and agro-economic aspects
- Landscape conservation activities
- Supporting measures for sustainable forest management
- Coordinating staff
- Further developing the agricultural branches of the business
- Documentation and compliance with legal requirements, especially regarding animal welfare and the environment
- Communicating with authorities, partners, and customers
What we’re looking for
- A completed degree or training in agriculture, Master Craftsman / Technician, or something similar
- Several years of hands-on experience in cattle farming, ideally with suckler cows
- Solid knowledge of animal husbandry, sustainable farming, and organic land management
- Technical understanding of modern agricultural machinery
- Ideally living near Oberegg (Markt Rettenbach)
- Strong communication and coordination skills, a talent for organization, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Proficiency with digital tools used in agriculture
