Operations Manager (m/f/d) – Agriculture & Forestry focusing on Organic Suckler Cow Husbandry

Your tasks at Geiger:

• Managing the farm and organizing daily routines in agriculture and forestry
  • Taking charge of animal welfare, including feeding, health management, and breeding plans
  • Sustainable land management, keeping ecological and agro-economic factors in mind
  • Landscape conservation activities
  • Supporting sustainable forest management measures
• Coordinating the team
• Developing and growing the agricultural branches of the business
• Handling documentation and making sure legal requirements are met (especially regarding animal welfare and the environment)
• Communicating with authorities, partners, and customers

What we’re looking for:

• A degree or vocational training in agriculture (Master/Technician level or similar)
• Several years of hands-on experience with cattle, ideally suckler cows
• Solid knowledge of animal husbandry, sustainable farming, and organic land management
• A good handle on modern agricultural tech
• Ideally, you live near Oberegg (Markt Rettenbach)
• Strong communication skills, great at organizing, and an entrepreneurial mindset
• An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Comfortable using digital tools for farming
