Operations Manager (m/f/d) – Agriculture & Forestry focusing on Organic Suckler Cow Husbandry

Your tasks at Geiger:
- Managing the farm and organizing daily routines in agriculture and forestry
- Taking charge of animal welfare, including feeding, health management, and breeding plans
- Sustainable land management, keeping ecological and agro-economic factors in mind
- Landscape conservation activities
- Supporting sustainable forest management measures
- Coordinating the team
- Developing and growing the agricultural branches of the business
- Handling documentation and making sure legal requirements are met (especially regarding animal welfare and the environment)
- Communicating with authorities, partners, and customers
What we’re looking for:
- A degree or vocational training in agriculture (Master/Technician level or similar)
- Several years of hands-on experience with cattle, ideally suckler cows
- Solid knowledge of animal husbandry, sustainable farming, and organic land management
- A good handle on modern agricultural tech
- Ideally, you live near Oberegg (Markt Rettenbach)
- Strong communication skills, great at organizing, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Comfortable using digital tools for farming
